Tension

There's tension between the person we understand we are, our personal idea of right and fair, its standards and goals, and the humiliating limitations of our bodies, our skills, our mortality. And yet, this tension can't be solved by avoidance. We cannot strain our physical being and subsume it to our intellect and we shouldn't hold our imagination back for fear of frustration. Neither is superior, they're like shepherd moons. It's our resistance from being led either way and our integrity in not being torn to pieces in the cross fire that makes us meaningful.
